MMIA road construction: FAAN advises travellers on early arrival at airport

Posted by Sade Williams

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria ((FAAN), has advised travellers to leave their homes early for their flights in order to avoid the traffic being experienced by road users along the Murtala Muhammed International Airport road in Lagos.

The traffic gridlock is occasioned by the ongoing reconstruction of the road leading to  the MMIA.

The Authority appealed to passengers that leaving their homes early will ensure they get to the airport in good time and go through all check in formalities with ease.

“We apologise for the inconveniences being encountered by passengers due to the situation, the Authority has already mobilized security agencies to ensure that the situation is effectively managed”, a statement signed by Henrietta Yakubu, FAAN spokesperson, said.
