The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has presented a certificate recognising Leadstream Aviation as Approved Training Organization (ATO) outfit in Nigeria.

With this, Leadstream as an Approved Training Organisation will carry out type rating system course (initial and refresher) on B737 series, CRJ series, Challenger aircraft and Embraer

Others include, hawker 125 series, ATR, Donier and DHCB

Reacting to the acquisition of the certificate, the Executive Director Roland Ahmed Maikudi expressed joy and commended the management of NCAA for doing a diligent job while promising to uphold high standards in line with operational practices

“I feel great and very grateful to God for the strength to pursue this dream, thus far. We are not there yet, still work in progress, even though we are happy we are not celebrating, because the journey ahead of us is far”

According to him, the development shows that the institution has the capability to conduct training for engineers and technicians on almost all the types of aircraft flown in the country.

He noted that the journey so far have been challenging and interesting, but said that effort made was not in vain

“The next line of action, is to continue to do more, continue to improve on what we have, continue to seek for more approval until we get to the point that, no engineer on technician have a reason to travel out for training”

Ahmed explained that the organisation will expand into pilot training (flight training), where they will be expected to take delivery of our B737CL full flight simulator.
