As the world aviation community celebrates the International Women’s Day, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has said that is fully committed to the implementation of the Aviation Gender Equality Program as well as the promotion of women in STEM education.
The theme for this year’s is Generation Quality: Realizing Women’s Rights.
The NCAA in a statement signed by its director general, Capt. Musa Nuh, the authority says it recognizes women as the bedrocks of all successful societies ‘and on this day, we acknowledge and appreciate their contributions towards the development of the aviation industry.
“The NCAA in alliance with International Civil Aviation community, celebrates the International Women’s Day 2020. In alignment with #IWD 2020 Theme: Generation Equality, NCAA is fully committed to the implementation of the Aviation Gender Equality Program as well as the promotion of women in STEM education” , Capt. Nuhu said.
Many airlines across the globe are celebrating the day with special flights commanded by women from ground to air.
