The Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMet, played host to different Servicom Desk heads of other aviation organisations at the Servicom Quarterly Global Networking meeting which held in Keffi, Nassarawa State.
The Meeting which had the theme : Sustaining the Improved Services also witnessed the attendance of the Director-General/CEO of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, Professor Mansur Bako Matazu, who in his goodwill message stated that the Agency views the Servicom Unit as an integral part of the organisation’s drive to reposition NiMet to have a semblance of the private-sector by prioritizing Efficiency, Timeliness, Customer -friendly and Adequate Service delivery.
“NiMet services cuts across all the sectors of the economy since weather is life and life is weather and despite the paucity of funds everywhere, NiMet rewards hard work, dedication and loyalty”, the DG NiMet enthused.
Also at the event, Mrs, Jumai Abdullahi who represented the Servicom National Coordinator, lauded NiMet for hosting the event while stressing the need for other Federal government Agencies to set up Servicom units, while those who possess a functional unit should review their service charter.
A service charter prescribes what customers stand to gain by patronising a particular service provider.
