The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Engr. Saleh Dunoma, was on Thursday, honoured by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) with the award of ‘Citizen of Excellence’ at the institute’s Presidential Dinner and Awards which took place at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.
According to NIPR, Engr. Dunoma was found worthy of the award due to his enormous contributions to the development of the nation’s aviation sector and for his “outstanding contributions impacting positively on Nigeria’s reputation, including best practices in corporate communication, commendable corporate citizenship and landmark in corporate value delivery”.
Dunoma was appointed MD/CEO of FAAN in 2014 and had since, brought his immense experience in airport management to bear on service delivery at all Nigerian airports managed by FAAN.
The award on Thursday was received on his behalf by Yakubu Dati, General manager, public affairs of FAAN.
