SAHCOL bags aviation handling company of the year award

The Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) has been awarded Aviation Handling Company of the year 2016.


History repeated itself as the award was given at the 5th edition of the Nigerian Transport Awards and Lectures held at Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Mobolaji Bank Anthony, Ikeja, Lagos. The award is to recognize and reward players in the Nigerian Transport and Logistic Industry covering all modes of transportation as well as Allied Industries in the country. It is meant to encourage Nigerian professionals to put in their best in the development of the Transport sector.


The Nigerian Transport Awards (NTA) which holds annually is organized by Transport Day Newspaper and supported by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the Nigerian Transport Round Table (NTRT) as well as Transport Editors of reputable Nigerian newspapers.


The award ceremony was attended by the key transport and logistics personalities and distinguished guests from all works of life. The ceremony also included a lecture which was taken by Oigiagbe Osemekhian, Chairman, Auto and Allied Group Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).


SAHCOL was recognized as a recipient of this award once again because it is a company whose value and thinking patterns are supportive of Transport Development in the country and also one whose services are equal to none in the Aviation Industry. The award is a confirmation of the company’s vision to be the leading provider of Passenger, Ramp and Cargo Handling Services in the West African Sub region.


SAHCOL is incorporated as an Aviation Ground Handling Service under the Nigerian Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990. It is a Nigerian owned enterprise involved in the activities which includes Passenger Handling, Ramp Handling, Cargo Handling and Warehousing, Aviation security, Baggage Reconciliation, Crew bus and Executive Lounge services and other related Ground Handling services.
